Our Team

Tammie Brenton, MSW, LSW

Thank you for being here. It takes tremendous courage to begin searching for the right support, and I honor that brave first step you're taking today. I'm dedicated to helping you find your balance and embrace your true and best self.

As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), my journey to this healing profession follows 15 years in the school system, where my heart's desire to help others heal first took root. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Walden University, and to provide the most compassionate care possible, I pursued specialized training and certification in Compassionate Bereavement Care, including focused support for those with traumatic loss.

One of my core passions is integrating body and mind in the healing process. As a certified nervous system reset coach, I continue deepening my knowledge of somatic therapy, exploring how the body expresses deeply painful experiences, and applying mind-body techniques to support trauma recovery.

Beyond individual sessions, I'm passionate about fostering community and connection through focused groups. I firmly believe that each person already possesses what they need for healing within themselves. It's always an honor to support and walk alongside clients as they discover their inner voice of acceptance and healing.

Whether you're seeking individual therapy, wellness consulting, organizational coaching, or personalized programming, I recognize that your situation is unique and deserves a tailored approach. I'm here to support your journey every step of the way.

Stacey Sinwald, Ph.D., M.Ed., LPCC

I first want to thank you for being here! Finding the right service and provider to meet your wellness needs can be challenging, but you’ve come to the right place.

Although I will share my education and credentials, I also greatly value the experiences that I have been awarded based on my passion for wellness over the years, leading me to appreciate and feel compassion for other humans. I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology, and my master’s degree is in clinical mental health counseling. My Doctoral work included adult and higher education as well as an emphasis on program development and research in workplace wellness.

Professionally, I am a practicing therapist in the state of Ohio (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), as well as a psychology professor for Oberlin College and Conservatory. I have additional training in Critical Incident and Stress Management and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to teaching and therapy, I am a professional dog trainer, specializing in puppy and therapy dog training.

Over the years I have had many public facing jobs which helped me realize my genuine interest in supporting other humans. Through my formal education and becoming a licensed therapist, I place great value on meeting people where they are and being supportive in a variety of ways, which leads me to have a very eclectic approach to therapy and wellness. There is no “one size fits all,” and as such, my therapy approaches are tailored to each individual. As someone who has long valued and understood the power of fitness, nutrition, alternative wellness, and positivity, I am happy to be combining my formal education and training with my lifelong passions. This ultimately led me to begin Stay Wellness, Therapy, and Consulting, a company that offers an array of wellness services.

I can’t wait to be a part of your journey to become and STAY well!
